a case for a wall

a case for a wall

where once tanks rolled through the streets of the german capital, today the economic roller of infinite development, maximum efficiency and endless profit is trying to steamroll memories and tears and pain of german history.

the berlin wall separated the german state in east and west for almost thirty years. where it was once the symbol for division and global polarity, today it is a beacon of hope, symbolizing the unity of people and the strength to overcome separation.

tearing the last symbolic parts of the berlin wall down is not only a disdain for german history, it is a neglect to human pursuit for equality, unity and solidarity.
